Madres en las comunidades de acogida a lo largo de las rutas migratorias requieren de apoyo también. Sus comunidades enfrentan sus propios desafíos y, al mismo tiempo, la mayoría de las veces son requeridas de proveer apoyo inmediato a los migrantes.
Mothers in host communities along the migratory routes require support as well. Their communities face their own challenges and, at the same time, are required most of the time to provide immediate support to migrants.

Soy madre de 6 hijos y soy echada para adelante, fuerte y trabajadora también. Nosotros acá cocinamos y dejamos a los hijos en la casa, y es una manera en la que podemos ganar algo de dinero, ayudamos a los migrantes también. A veces vienen sin dinero entonces les ayudamos con comida, agua… así los ayudamos.

I am a mother of 6 children and I am a strong and hardworking person. We cook here and leave the children at home, and it is a way in which we can earn some money; we help the migrants too. Sometimes they come without money so we help them with food, water... that's how we help them.
