Las madres privadas de libertad deben recibir un trato humano, con respecto y dignidad. Se debe asegurar éstas tengan acceso a los servicios básicos de acuerdo con sus necesidades, sin discriminación.
Mothers deprived of their liberty must be treated humanely, with respect and dignity. They shall have access to basic services according to their needs without discrimination.

Soy mamá de dos niños, me considero una mujer fuerte porque a pesar de estar aquí, me levanto cada día con ganas de luchar por ellos, seguir adelante por ellos, superarme… que ellos y mi familia tenga una nueva expectativa de mí. Quiero que mi mamá se sienta siempre orgullosa de mí y sacar provecho de hasta lo malo.
Me da temor que mis hijos sigan el mismo camino, que esa cadena no pueda romperse o que mi hija mayor tome decisiones equivocadas, más ahora en la etapa de adolescencia que es en la que se encuentra; que se me vaya la vida y no poder hacer nada para que ellos sean alguien importante en la vida.
English:
I am a mother of two children, I consider myself a strong woman because even though I am here, I get up every day with the desire to fight for them, to go forward for them, to better myself... for them and my family to have a new expectation of me. I want my mom to always feel proud of me and to take advantage of even the bad things.
I am afraid that my children will follow the same path, that this chain cannot be broken or that my eldest daughter will make the wrong decisions, especially now in her adolescence stage; that my life will be gone and I will not be able to do anything for them to be someone important in life.
