Madres en las comunidades de acogida a lo largo de las rutas migratorias requieren de apoyo también. Sus comunidades enfrentan sus propios desafíos y, al mismo tiempo, la mayoría de las veces son requeridas de proveer apoyo inmediato a los migrantes.
Mothers in host communities along the migratory routes require support as well. Their communities face their own challenges and, at the same time, are required most of the time to provide immediate support to migrants.

Yo, como madre, en la comunidad mía, recibo a los migrantes, algunos vienen con niños, a veces vienen a preguntar comida, regalada para los niños. Bueno, como madre, uno lo siente, verdad; que vienen de la selva, caminando.
Algunos niños con hambre, entonces nosotros le ayudamos. Vendemos comida y lo que sobra, nosotros lo regalamos, para cocinar así, nosotros dejamos a los niños en la casa, cuidándolos, pero algunos niños de nosotros ya están grandes y ellos están en su casa, ahí vienen, a jugar.
English:
Me, as a mother, in my community, I receive migrants, some come with children, sometimes they come to ask for food, given as free for the children. Well, as a mother, you feel it, right; they come from the jungle, walking.
Some children are hungry, so we help them. We sell food and what is left over, we give it away, to cook like this, we leave the children at home, taking care of them, but some of our children are already grown up and they are at home, they come there, to play.
