Madres en las comunidades de acogida a lo largo de las rutas migratorias requieren de apoyo también. Sus comunidades enfrentan sus propios desafíos y, al mismo tiempo, la mayoría de las veces son requeridas de proveer apoyo inmediato a los migrantes.
Mothers in host communities along the migratory routes require support as well. Their communities face their own challenges and, at the same time, are required most of the time to provide immediate support to migrants.

Soy madre de 2 hijos, me dedico a trabajar vendiendo cosas, porque uno cuando es madre, ya sabe que tiene que ver por los hijos, así que, trabajo en lo que pueda, en lo que está a mi alcance.
Y, como madre, a veces no estoy, como están viendo, no estoy con mis hijos, están en la escuela, pero, aun así, como soy madre, me dedico de todos modos el tiempo que pueda a atender a mis hijos, es duro, sí, pero hay que echar para adelante, no hay de otra.
Trato de ayudar, no es gratis tampoco, pero sí trato de que, cuando vienen de allá de la selva vienen sin vestido, sin nada, no es que tenga las cosas gratis, pero trato de al menos ayudar de esa forma. A veces vienen aquí sin dinero y les doy ropa porque ustedes saben cómo llegan los migrantes aquí, les ayudo a veces con cosas de comida, también.

I am a mother of two kids, I work selling things, because when you are a mother, you know that you have to take care of your children, so I work in whatever I can, in whatever is within my reach.
And, as a mother, sometimes I am not, as you can see, I am not with my children, they are at school, but, even so, as I am a mother, I dedicate all the time I can to take care of my children, it is hard, yes, but you have to go ahead, there is no other way.
I try to help, it is not free either, but I do try, when they come from the jungle, they come without clothes, without anything, it is not that I have things for free, but I try to at least help in that way. Sometimes they come here without money and I give them clothes because you know how the migrants arrive here, sometimes I help them with food, too.
